The Spiritual Paralytic People

In the book of Mark, there is a man, who is paralytic for unknown years but the bible tells us how this man gets forgiven and healed. These four men, friends of the paralytic helped him to reach into Jesus. They heard the news that Jesus has returned to Capernaum and they bring the paralytic to Jesus carried with his bed. But there was a crowd; there was no longer room for them. They went up on the roof and removed some tiles to make an opening and lowered him through the tiles with his bed into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus. Jesus saw their faith springing from confidence in Him (Jesus) and the paralytic forgiven from his sins and also get healed and carried his bed and go.

There are more than 3.2 billion people on our planet who are like this man who needs someone to bring them in front of Jesus, These are spiritual paralytic people which never had a chance to hear about Christ. This covers 41.8% of the world’s population.

The friends of the paralytic had understood the lack of the glory of GOD in him this lead them to make a move to carry him into Jesus. And also they knew that Jesus will heal him because they heard about Jesus and they loved him, they want him to walk freely like them. Romans 3:23(Amp)  says “since all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God” so that understanding the lack of God’s Glory from these 3.2 billion people and understanding God’s love for them will be the first two points that help us to reach them. They (the friends of the paralytic) believe that Jesus can heal the paralytic, they had faith in Jesus. Believing Jesus is the only way to be saved and also having faith in God leads us to reach these people. And taking steps with all sacrifice will be the last step the crowd didn’t stop them but they find out a way for him to get healed. They carried the paralytic onto the roof they made an opening to roof tiles and they let the man down, lying on his bed. This requires a lot of costs but the above 3 reasons gave them the courage to move.

Jonah was one of a messenger in the bible who is sent to the people of Nineveh (non-Jewish). Nineveh was the capital of the Assyrian empire. Jonah ran away from God, he does not wish to go to Nineveh to preach repentance to the people, as God has commanded because he feels they are his enemies, and he is convinced that God will not carry out his threat to destroy the city. He wanted that the perspective of God to be like him but God had compassion on Nineveh, the great city in which there are more than 120,000 innocent people, who do not know the difference between their right and left hand and are not yet accountable for their sin.

God has compassion for those more than 3.2 billion people around the world. His salvation plan is for the whole world, they may not be accountable for their sin but HIS plane is for the whole world still. So that to reach these people Jesus said matt 28:19 “Go therefore ad make disciples of all the nations….” help the people to learn of Jesus, believe in Jesus, and obey HIS words So that we have to be aware of the lack of the Glory of God (which is The crucified Jesus) in the lives of these 3.2 billion people and also understanding the greatest salvation plan of God includes this 41.8% of the total population of the earth then if we have faith in God then we have to take a step to reach these unreached people with every cost.

Unreached people groups are those who lack enough followers of Christ and resources to evangelize their own people. There are 17,432 people groups in the world from these 7,402 people groups are unreached.

We have to take a step with all we have to reach these people groups by prayer, by contributing offerings for a missionary in these people groups, and also by accepting a vision from God and going to these places as a missionary.
